As a fitness enthusiast turned national competitor, personal trainer and online coach, I have created this blog to simplify the ever growing, confusing, misleading and contradicting tonne of information that is available to read.

I began my journey into fitness from a very young age. Training as a hobby along side playing every sport possible. I began to take it more serious as I gained more experience in the gym, watching my physique change gradually. I was further motivated when my mother developed Crohn’s  disease – a disease that affects the gut and can have serious consequence to your health.

As a result of all my passions I decided to base my education around health and fitness and the human body, choosing to do a degree in sports science then furthering this with a master in exercise Physiology. With around 10 years experience and several years working as a personal trainer I have worked with a variety of different clients both 1-1 and online.

As a result I have experienced first hand the difficulties that people are faced with day to day when trying to achieve their fitness goals. I have created this blog to help you learn as much as possible so you can understand and apply up to date and current knowledge to your training and dieting to help you achieve your goals.
